Technical Requirements
A Multifamily Builder Outreach Specialist is available to provide guidance for high performance design and construction and can assist you with any questions you have about meeting the multifamily ENERGY STAR® certification requirements.
In addition, the mechanical ventilation specification is a requirement of all projects built in Energy Trust territory.
Enrollment
- Membership is free and open to Construction Contractors Board–licensed and insured contractors building new single family and multifamily residences in Oregon.
Steps to become a New Homes trade ally:- Submit your Energy Trust Trade Ally Application or contact , Energy Trust trade ally coordinator, at 503-459-4070.
- Submit your New Homes Addendum Application, listing any specific certifications you would like associated with your record.
- Complete the Faxable Request Form for Certificate of Insurance and submit to your insurance carrier(s).
After you submit all of the required application materials, we will review your application and you will receive a letter confirming your trade ally status.
When you are ready to build an ENERGY STAR qualified multifamily project, send us a completed Multifamily Site Incentive Application to reserve your incentives.
