Energy Trust’s ENERGY STAR New Homes requires that homes have duct distribution and heat pump systems performance tested to ensure that systems and equipment work as designed.
This creates an opportunity for trained heat pump commissioning and duct testing contractors to offer services to ensure homebuilders have met the ENERGY STAR Homes Northwest Certification Requirements.
By signing up as an approved performance testing contractor, you become eligible to receive training subsidies and equipment incentives.
