This updated Home Energy Solutions Weatherization Specifications Manual provides the necessary information and clear direction that will make your job easier, and further increase the energy efficiency of your customers’ homes.

These weatherization specifications are only for retro-fit weatherization jobs applying for Energy Trust of Oregon incentives, and are not intended to address new construction or remodeling projects.

Throughout this guide, you will see yellow-highlighted text. This text reflects new specifications, which many of you suggested. Quality Control reviews will be conducted in accordance with the new specifications.*

New weatherization specifications go into effect on March 1, 2008. Please begin to familiarize yourself with these changes, and make sure your crews are aware of these changes, as well.

The Home Energy Solutions team will continue to work to ensure that the transition to the new manual is as simple as possible for you and your company.
