Trade Ally Insurance Verifier Change

In order to spend more time serving our trade allies and less time verifying insurance certificates, Energy Trust has contracted with Confirmnet.

Round Table

Our trade allies represent us in the field, and help make our programs successful. You also help us understand the customer’s experience. We are continually looking for ways to improve our programs and processes and we value your input.

One way you can share input is to participate in our quarterly trade ally round table sessions. Read More

The next round table meeting is 8/18/09.

Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally Network

Trade allies are an essential part of Energy Trust of Oregon. More than 800 experienced contractors, distributors and other professionals are affiliated with one or more Energy Trust programs. Each program identifies a specialized pool of independent contractors that provide energy efficiency and renewable energy equipment and services to homeowners and businesses. Our Trade Allies bring in up to 80% of the projects for which we provide incentives. They are often the first, last and only representatives of Energy Trust programs to their customers. We have Trade Ally networks serving several markets:

Existing Buildings - contractors, installers, and distributors for energy efficiency products and services in existing commercial buildings

New Buildings - manufacturers, manufacturer’s representatives, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers and retailers of energy efficiency products and services in new commercial construction and major remodels

Home Energy Solutions - contractors and installers for energy efficiency products and services in existing homes and apartments

Products - retailers that carry ENERGY STAR® appliances for homes and businesses

New Homes - builders, developers, HVAC contractors, performance testers and verifiers of high performance, energy efficient new home construction

New Manufactured Homes - retailers that carry ENERGY STAR qualified new manufactured homes

Solar Electric and Solar Water Heating - contractors and installers for photovoltaic and water heating systems in homes and businesses

Small Wind - contractors and installers of small wind turbines for rural home owners, ranchers, farmers, municipalities and other property owners in windy areas.

Program staff contact information for use by existing trade allies.

Energy Trust provides technical assistance and financial incentives but does not develop, sell or install energy systems or equipment. This work is done by independent businesses that are solely responsible for the quality and performance of their installations
