make green projects greener
There's never been a better time to invest in energy
efficient equipment, processes and construction. Energy
Trust's commercial and industrial programs have $16.2
million available for energy studies and cash incentives
for energy efficient measures in 2007, and funding will

Roundtable a success
Energy Trust held its first Trade Ally Roundtable
sessions on April 20 in Portland. Trade allies,
Energy Trust sector managers, program staff members and
trade ally coordinators attended. Trade allies spoke
openly with program representatives about aspects of the
programs that have worked well and potential

ENERGY REPORT: Some tax credit eligible heat pumps down-rated by ARI
The Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute (ARI)
recently notified the Oregon Department of Energy that
it has revised efficiency ratings of some heat pump
equipment. Because of this action, some equipment no
longer meets the criteria for Oregon Residential Energy
Tax Credit eligibility. READ MORE

2006 Annual Report
available in June
In recent issues of INSIDER, we provided an early peek
at results from 2006. With incredible support from our
Trade Ally Network, Energy Trust hit a new high for
participation in our programs. Energy Trust of Oregon's
2006 Annual Report is nearly complete. In addition to
capturing all the facts and figures that document our
collective success, it includes the stories behind the
savings—profiles of participants who used Energy
Trust incentives to make their businesses and homes
more efficient, more productive and more comfortable. READ MORE
TRAINING UPDATE: Tankless water heaters lunch and learn, July 26
Energy Trust now offers a $200 incentive for high efficiency, tankless water heaters. A promotion featuring $1,000 off a
Rinnai tankless water heater and a drawing to win a
free Rinnai tankless water heater will launch in August
in coordination with NW Natural and be featured in an
August NW Natural bill insert. To prepare contractors for
increased demand, Energy Trust is hosting a lunch and learn session for commercial and residential trade allies on
July 26 from 12 noon to 1 pm at the Energy Trust office.
Nolan Bozarth, Cascade Products Inc., will demonstrate a
tankless water heater and discuss requirements for proper
installation and optimum performance. Topics will include:
- Tankless water heater function
- Top installation techniques
- Incentives and credits
- Sales information and tips

MARKETING UPDATE: Marketing consulting
available for trade allies
As an Energy Trust trade ally, you can take advantage of
a program to receive marketing consulting services at
no cost. For a limited time, Energy Trust will provide
up to four hours of consulting time with Tim Miller,
Energy Trust's marketing and sales consultant. The
