What’s required to join Energy Trust’s Trade Ally Network
The following are some of the requirements for being a trade ally with Energy Trust’s New Buildings program:
- Complete and submit all required application and addendum forms
- Hold all required licenses, including CCB license if applicable
- Provide all required insurance documentation
- Assign someone in your company to act as the “Energy Ambassador,” who will be the main contact for New Buildings program information
- Enroll a minimum of two projects per calendar year in the New Buildings program
- Attend a 1-hour trade ally orientation
Businesses in the New Buildings Trade Ally Network are encouraged to:
- Install appropriate equipment to meet the energy-efficiency needs of your customers
- Support industry participation in energy conservation through program support, training assistance and energy-efficient equipment supply
- Verify installation reports of energy-efficient equipment quickly and accurately
- Participate in training designed to improve understanding of emerging energy-efficient technologies and their installation
