How to Become a New Buildings Trade Ally

  1. Contact the New Buildings program at 503-961-6170 or toll free at 877-467-0930.
  2. Complete, sign and return the following forms and supplemental documentation:
    • Trade Ally Initial Application (Form 1171A PDF | Word)
    • New Buildings Trade Ally Network Addendum (Form 571A PDF | Word)
    • Certificate of insurance evidencing state-required Worker’s Compensation insurance
    • Certificate of insurance showing the required Commercial General Liability insurance, including naming Energy Trust of Oregon, Inc. as an additional insured. Please fax this Request Form for Certificate of Insurance (PDF | Word) to your Commercial General Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance carriers.
  3. Register for a 1-hour trade ally orientation. These are available as an on-site seminar or Webinar.
  4. Receive your Trade Ally approval notification from the New Buildings program.
  5. Help your clients and customers receive incentives through the New Buildings program.
