We know that there are just about as many ways to save energy as there are businesses in Oregon. That's why we offer custom incentives for equipment and projects that save energy using equipment not eligible for our standard incentives.
Custom Incentives
To qualify for a custom incentive, the energy
savings must be at least 25% of the current
energy use for lighting equipment and 10% for
all other equipment and measures.
Custom incentive amounts are based on the incremental
cost of the energy efficiency project and must
be pre-approved.
The maximum incentive per site is $500,000 per
year.
Custom incentives for lighting projects are
30% of the total approved project cost, not
to exceed 15¢/annual per kWh.
Custom incentives for projects involving
non-lighting equipment or measures are approved
up to 35% of the total approved cost not to
exceed 20¢/annual kWh saved and $1/therm saved.
