You don’t have to be a large industrial complex to save big on your energy costs. There are many ways for small- to mid-size manufacturing facilities to save energy. Energy Trust can help with cash incentives. We can put you in touch with qualified trade allies who can help with every step in the process.
- Motors: Energy Trust pays a standard cash incentive of $10/hp for NEMA Premium motors of 200 hp or less. To see the list of eligible motors and learn more about the incentive, download the motors worksheet and the information form. Larger motors require custom analysis for an incentive of $0.20/annual kWh. For more information, contact Energy Trust’s Production Efficiency program at 503-445-7643.
- Lighting: Depending on the size of your project, Energy Trust offers fixed cash incentives for a wide range of energy-efficient lighting upgrades. Energy-efficient lighting upgrades are the best first step in any energy efficiency program and pay back their investment cost through energy savings in as little as a few months.
