We know that there are just about as many ways to save energy as there are industries in Oregon. That's why we offer custom incentives for equipment and projects that save energy using equipment not eligible for our standard incentives.

Custom Analyses

For production and process improvements, we offer custom analyses to identify incentives for your facility’s particular needs. 

Production Efficiency Custom Incentives*

Energy Trust offers the following custom incentives for energy efficiency measures installed by businesses using industrial processes. The maximum annual cap for combined incentives per site is $500,000.

• Non-lighting equipment - up to 15¢/annual kWh saved or 50% of total project costs, whichever is less
• Municipal water/wastewater projects - up to 26¢/annual kWh saved or 50% of total project costs, whichever is less
• Lighting - 15¢/annual kWh saved or 30% of total project cost, whichever is less
• Natural gas equipment - $1.00/annual therm saved or 50% of project costs, whichever is less. (Only customers on a limited set of NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas rate schedules are eligible for Energy Trust incentives.)
