Energy Trust provides financial incentives to builders who build an ENERGY STAR^® qualified home through the ENERGY STAR New Homes program. These incentives offset a portion of the costs of energy efficient upgrades.

For newly constructed homes that are not ENERGY STAR qualified, homeowners may be eligible for up to $300 cash incentive for a number of energy efficient technologies.

If your newly constructed home has energy efficient equipment or services installed, you may be eligible for incentives on your gas furnace, gas tankless water heater, gas fireplace, heat pump, or if you had your heat pump commissioned and/or duct sealed. When you buy a home built through Energy Trust’s ENERGY STAR New Homes program, you may be eligible for Residential Tax Credits from the Oregon Department of Energy as well as Federal Tax Credits from the Internal Revenue Service. The appliances, heating and cooling equipment and more in your new home may all be eligible for tax credits.
