look for products that have earned the ENERGY STAR
label, including appliances such as clothes washers,
dishwashers, refrigerators and room air conditioners;
lighting including light bulbs, fixtures and ceiling
fans; and home electronics such as TVs and DVD players.
To earn the ENERGY STAR label, products must meet strict
energy-efficiency guidelines set by the US EPA and
