You can be more comfortable at home, lower your energy costs, do your part to protect our environment and help address global warming. Energy Trust makes it all so easy. We provide services, cash incentives and qualified contractors to make your home more energy efficient.

Homeowners who are Oregon customers of Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas are eligible to participate in Home Energy Solutions programs. Homes that heat with oil, propane, kerosene, butane or wood can conduct their own energy audit and apply for cash rebates for installed weatherization measures through the Oregon Department of Energy's SHOW (State Home Oil Weatherization) program.

  • Schedule a FREE Home Energy Review and learn how you can save energy and money and create a more comfortable living environment. Our Energy Advisor will come to your home, recommend energy-saving measures specific to your home and install FREE compact fluorescent light bulbs, faucet aerators and showerheads.

To schedule your FREE Home Energy Review, call 1-866-368-7878 or complete the online form.
  • Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is a comprehensive home improvement program using the latest technologies to increase your home's energy performance. Specially trained and certified contractors analyze all the components of a home—heating/cooling equipment, insulation levels, air infiltration, windows/doors—and show you exactly how to maximize energy efficiency.
  • Complete our FREE Online Home Energy Analyzer and learn how you can save energy and money around your home. The analysis takes about 20-30 minutes.

Energy Trust can also offer the following incentives for SHOW program participants receiving electricity from PGE or Pacific Power:

For your convenience, Energy Trust maintains a list of trade ally contractors who are committed to promoting energy efficiency. Trade allies are eligible to offer special promotions. See Choosing a Contractor.

Energy Trust provides technical assistance and financial incentives but does not develop, sell or install energy systems or equipment. This work is done by independent businesses that are solely responsible for the quality and performance of their installations.

You can get valuable cash incentives and assistance with Oregon Business Energy Tax Credits for energy-savings measures in your multifamily properties through the Multifamily Home Energy Solutions Program. We help make installation affordable, leading to increased tenant retention and profitability for property managers. We also offer incentives for owners of duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes.

You can get a credit on your Oregon income taxes for making your home more energy-efficient and helping preserve Oregon’s environment. Some of the measures we provide a cash incentive for are also eligible for a tax credit. The Oregon Department of Energy website lists the energy efficient products/technologies that are eligible for Oregon tax credits.
