  1. Call 1-866-368-7878 and talk to a Home Energy Advisor regarding the needs of your home.

  2. Consider scheduling an appointment for a Free Home Energy Review* and installation of free compact fluorescent light bulbs (up to 10, a $50 value)**. Our Home Energy Advisor will recommend energy-saving measures for your home.

  3. Select the measures you want to install from those recommended. The Energy Advisor will provide details on incentives and Oregon Energy Tax Credits and Federal Tax Credits that are available.

  4. Choose a contractor to install energy saving measures. Energy Trust maintains a list of trade ally contractors who are knowledgeable about Energy Trust incentives, and can help you apply. If you wish to work with a licensed contractor who is not on our list, please have the contractor contact us to become an Energy Trust trade ally contractor.

  5. When the work is finished and meets your approval, submit Form 300A and a copy of your contractor’s invoice. Call Energy Trust to have a specialist help you apply for applicable Energy Trust incentives. We may request permission to inspect the project upon completion. Upon approval, Energy Trust will send you your incentive within six to eight weeks.
  • You must be a residential customer of Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas.

  • Owners and renters are eligible for services. Most measures require the permission of the landlord to install.

  • There are no income restrictions to participate. A FREE Home Energy Review* and FREE compact fluorescent light bulbs (up to 10, a $50 value) are available for all eligible participants**.

* For qualified homes.
**Participants must be Oregon customers of Portland General Electric or Pacific Power to receive free CFLs. Some restrictions apply.
