Upgrade to energy-efficient light bulbs in your properties' common areas this fall and receive a special cash bonus, in addition to standard Energy Trust incentives.

From September 1, 2008, to December 23, 2008, we are offering an additional cash bonus for lighting upgrades at multifamily properties. The more electricity the project saves, the higher the bonus—up to $1,000.

Upgrading your lights not only improves tenant safety and your property value, but energy-efficient lighting projects can pay for themselves within one year. One compact fluorescent light bulb is up to 75 percent more efficient than standard bulbs and can last up to 10 times longer.

Requirements

To qualify, the property must receive electricity from Pacific Power or Portland General Electric. Only common-area lighting projects are eligible for this bonus.

Bonuses are based on energy savings. The total kilowatt hours saved will determine your bonus amount.
