Buying an energy efficient model can save money on your energy costs. Replace a standard water heater with an energy efficient water heater and receive an incentive.*

Electric Water Heater incentive: $35

Electric Replacement Requirements:

30/40/50 gallon – EF 0.93 or greater
65/80 gallon – EF 0.91 or greater
119 gallon – EF 0.85

High Efficiency Electric Water Heater incentive: $75

Electric Replacement Requirements:

Minimum EF 0.94 or greater and minimum 20 year tank warranty
Visit Marathon’s website for information about eligible Marathon water heaters.

Gas Water Heater incentive: $35

Gas Replacement Requirements:

Minimum EF 0.62 or greater

Tankless Gas Hot Water Heater incentive: $200

Replacement Requirements: Replace a standard water heater with a tankless gas hot water heater; minimum EF of 0.80 or greater
