Renewable Energy Outreach and Program Manager - has extensive background in program and organization management, along with media and communications. Betsy comes to Energy Trust after serving as Executive Director of Oregon Women Lawyers, where she increased membership and established several new programs. Prior to that, Betsy worked at For the Sake of the Salmon, first as Media Director and later as the manager of the Salmon-Friendly Power program, a renewable energy program that also raised and distributed money for salmon habitat restoration projects. Her background also includes a decade as a radio newscaster, most recently in Chicago and at 1190 KEX in Portland. Betsy has two bachelor’s degrees: one in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and a second from the University of Wisconsin in Speech Pathology.
