Business Sector Manager -  came to work with the Energy Trust after graduating from the University of Oregon with a Masters Degree in Community and Regional Planning. During his tenure at the University, Spencer worked at Emerald People’s Utility District to conduct a study to determine whether it is cost-effective to use distributed generation to supply Emerald’s customers with reliable power. Spencer now manages Energy Trust's New Buildings program. Prior to coming to Oregon, Spencer worked as a Geographic Information Systems specialist for two non-profit environmental organizations in Minnesota. Spencer has a B.A. of Biology and a B.A. of Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
