Draft 2025 Budget Available for Public Comment
Energy Trust of Oregon’s Draft 2025 Budget and Action Plan is now available for public review. As a nonprofit organization investing utility customer funds, we value input on our budget, goals and priorities from stakeholders and the customers we serve. The 2025 budget and action plan outline our strategies to help customers and communities save energy and generate renewable power, including new offers and approaches to reach people of color, low- and moderate-income customers and rural communities who may not have benefitted in the past.

Public comments are due to Energy Trust by 5 p.m. PST, Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Wednesday, October 9
We are hosting a draft budget presentation virtually on October 9 during our board of directors meeting. Executive Director Michael Colgrove will present an overview of the Draft 2025 Budget and Action Plan, including market trends that influenced the budget and Energy Trust’s annual goals for 2025.

Tuesday, November 5
Presentation of the draft budget and action plan at a public workshop of the Oregon Public Utility Commission, held virtually; find meeting details.
Friday, December 13
After receiving feedback on the draft budget, staff will present a final proposed budget to the board of directors for consideration and vote, along with a summary of public comments and an explanation of how those comments are reflected in the revised document. The meeting is open to the public.
Staff will submit the approved budget and action plan to the Oregon Public Utility Commission by December 31, 2024.
