Replicable Strategies from Research on District Systems for Equity-Centered Development

Join us for a webinar on June 13 to learn about Anyeley Hallová’s Net Zero Fellowship research on district systems for equity-centered real estate development. The research evaluated district rainwater and graywater, photovoltaics, battery and geo exchange, as well as a microgrid, with findings that provide lessons learned for other district-scale projects.

Through the Williams & Russell Project, Anyeley’s company Adre explored opportunities for district energy, water and waste systems to bring resiliency as well as economic and environmental benefits to historically underinvested communities. Williams & Russell will provide housing, homeownership and a hub for Black businesses in Portland’s North Albina neighborhood.

Adre led the research in partnership with PAE Engineering, Biohabitats and LEVER Architecture with funding from Energy Trust’s Net Zero Fellowship.
