Energy Trust to launch competitive selection for Production Efficiency Custom and Strategic Energy Management program delivery contracts
Request for Proposals will be released on March 26
PORTLAND, Ore. — February 26, 2018 — Energy Trust of Oregon will bid the program delivery contracts for its Production Efficiency Custom and Strategic Energy Management offerings in three geographic territories. It is best practice to bid out contracts periodically with the objective of delivering effective services and high value for utility customers.
Energy Trust will release the Request for Proposal (RFP) on March 26, 2018, with proposals due to Energy Trust on April 27, 2018. Work under the new program delivery contracts will begin on January 1, 2019. Energy Trust anticipates that it will negotiate with the winning bidders to execute a three-year contract with two optional one-year extensions. Through Energy Trust’s Production Efficiency program, customers can access cash incentives and technical expertise for Custom projects and Strategic Energy Management services that result in energy-efficiency improvements at industrial facilities. In 2018, Energy Trust incentives for these offerings are budgeted at approximately $11.2 million to save an expected 8.2 average megawatts of electricity and more than 740,000 therms of natural gas.
