Since 2002, we have helped people and businesses transform more than 744,000 homes and buildings with clean energy improvements.
Mission and Approach
We are a nonprofit organization committed to delivering clean, affordable energy to 1.6 million utility customers. Learn about our vision, history, annual budgets, strategic plans, funding sources and investments.
Benefits and Results
Our customers have saved and generated enough energy to fuel a clean energy power plant—an achievement with significant rewards for Oregon’s economy and environment. Benefits include $8.2 billion saved on utility bills over time, $8.3 billion added to the economy and 32.7 million tons of carbon dioxide avoided.
We work in close collaboration with our participating utilities, trade and program allies, the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, the Oregon Public Utility Commission and government agencies to serve people and businesses with comprehensive energy solutions.
Energy Trust resources—like fact sheets, newsletters and energy monitors—are available for individuals, schools, communities and other organizations looking for energy-saving and renewable power information and tools.
