Solar Development Assistance

Considering solar to lower energy bills, curb carbon emissions and guard against long-term energy price increases? Energy Trust of Oregon can help get your project started. We offer cash incentives to help with initial solar planning and can connect you with qualified solar trade ally contractors.

Public entities, nonprofit organizations, tribes and affordable multifamily housing projects may all qualify for a Solar Development Assistance incentive of up to $1,800 to help to offset the upfront cost of a solar feasibility report, which will provide you with a custom system design and cost-benefit analysis. Businesses may also qualify for assistance with solar planning for new buildings.

A solar trade ally contractor can help you understand what solar or solar plus battery storage options are most appropriate for your site. They will also line up your Energy Trust incentives and can help you connect with grants or other funding for which you may be eligible.

To learn more about your options and Solar Development Assistance, talk with an Energy Trust solar trade ally.
