Based on recommendations from an Energy Trust Home Energy Review, Addie Greene worked with a local Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® trade ally contractor to do comprehensive testing on her 1972 home and make energy-saving improvements. With help from Energy Trust incentives, she sealed air leaks, added insulation, installed and sealed heating ducts and replaced many windows and sliding doors.

Greene says the house felt more comfortable right away, and she looks forward to lower energy bills in the winter. “If it hadn’t been for Energy Trust, I couldn’t have done all that I did,” she said. “It has really helped my life. I hope more people will take advantage of the program like I did.”
